The Department of Language and Literacy Education is currently inviting applications for the position of Head of the department. Applications may be submitted until September 15, 2013.
GRA appointment available immediately
Graduate Research Assistance (GRA) opportunity available immediately in LLED. This position is available for an advanced graduate student for 5-10 hours per week to assist with research involving cross-national examinations of equity, diversity, educational achievement, and achievement. Knowledge of the literature as well as interest and background knowledge of studies pertaining to the issues including government and academic cross-national sources especially related to China, Australia and North America.
Applicants should submit a resume and statement of interest to lled-posting.educ@ubc.ca by September 12, 2013. Appointment would begin as soon as possible for 3-6 months initially with possibility of renewal. PhD and Master’s students are welcome to apply.
